These stunning pictures were taken by a group of urban explorers who travel the UK visiting factories, closed buildings and other interesting site

A LOST car graveyard has been captured sixty-five feet underground by an astonished urban explorer
Wasteland: The rusting cars are piled up at the bottom of the cave
These are the incredible pictures of a mountain of abandoned cars found in a slate mine in Wales.
The images show the rotting vehicles piled up at the bottom of the cave - they are
thought to have been there since the 1970s.
They were taken by a group of urban explorers who travelled to the site, that closed in the 1960s, to spend four hours photographing their finds.
But getting there was half the battle as they had to climb down the steep shaft with rope as pieces of slate fell on them.
One of the explorers, IT engineer Gregory Rivolet, said: "'It was very dangerous as the mine is really unstable. Pieces of slate were falling from above our heads."

Graveyard: Some of them have been there for more than 45 years
"We had to use rope to climb down to the right level of the mine, the descent was around sixty-five feet deep, it didn't feel very secure at all," he continued.
"There was something so surreal about this exploration, it was totally dark, wet, slippery and very dangerous.
"And then you see the most unexpected thing, a mountain of old cars."

Spooky: The cave in Wales is 65ft underground
He said he thought the cars may have accidentally crashed down the cave and been left there as it would have been "too expensive" to tow them out.
Mr Rivolet decided to take a trip down to the mine when he noticed it online, and persuaded a friend to guide him down.

Eerie: The dangerous trip was 'well worth it'
He described the experience as "pretty intense" but said the dangerous conditions were well worth it.
Mr Rivolet added: "I was intrigued and started to do some research about it and realised it was in the UK.

Unexpected: You wouldn't expected to find dozens of abandoned cars here
"Once I found out the location of the mine, I asked a contact of mine in the UK to guide me down there.
"The whole experience was pretty intense, but it was definitely worth the risk."
