The oblivious driver doesn't seem to notice fellow motorists trying to catch his attention as he carries on looking at the smartphone
This driver seemed more concerned with checking his phone than paying attention to the road in front of him.
The footage, taken by a passing motorcyclist, shows the man looking at his smartphone while driving along the M60.
The frustrated biker, who was beeping his horn and telling the man to put his
phone down, captured the distracted man on a dash cam.
But the driver of the blue Ford Fiesta doesn't seem to notice and carries on using his device, writes the Manchester Evening News .
The video, taken on December 16, shortly after 6pm was uploaded to YouTube by user bmulli12, under the title: "On the phone, but it’s OK, he knows what’s going on on Facebook.”
He then wrote: “Car driver completely forgot oblivious of biker at the side of him. M60 anti-clockwise Whitefield.”
Using a mobile telephone while driving carries 3 penalty points and £100 fine.
Many commented on the footage.
Account Road User stated: “Hope you have reported this to GMP. Perhaps if more stupid people get caught like this then more may think twice before picking up their phones.”
UK Bad Drivers wrote: “Completely oblivious its people like that that hit cyclists and bikers.”
