Egypt attack: 10 dead including police in horror shooting rampage at Christian church

Security services rushed to the scene after a number of attackers stormed the Coptic church, in the Helwan district of southern Cairo, during morning prayers. 
One attacker opened fire outside the Mar Mina church before being shot dead by security services, according to Egyptian authorities.
Graphic pictures of bearded gunman wearing a bulky ammunition vest sprawled on a street as police stand pver him have been shared by local media.
A manhunt have been launched to find the remaining suspects and the area around the church has been sealed off.
A second militant involved in the attack is thought to have escaped on foot, according to reports.

Two police officers are thought to be among those killed in horrific shooting spree near the church, state-run news agency MENA reports.
A further five security guards were also injured during the shocking incident, though their full condition is not clear.
In the wake of the incident at around 11am local time (9am UK time), loud sirens were heard in central Cairo.

Authorites are yet to confirm whether the rampage was terror related or the motive behind the attack.
No one has claimed responsibilty for the massacre.
ISIS terrorists have slaughtered dozens of Christians in gun and bomb attacks on chruches in Egypt throughout 2017.
Coptic Christians, the largest religious minority in the country, make up about 10% of the country's 93 million population.
In April, ISIS suicide bombers killed at least 43 and injured more than 100 in twin attacks on churches.
