Fire and rescue teams battled to revive Nick Gordon after he was found 'unresponsive' in a Florida hotel room with 'black stuff' coming out of his mouth, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The Maitland Police Department received a call at 5:15am on New Year's Day to alert them to Gordon's plight.
They arrived at the Sheraton Hotel, gained access to a room where they found the 30-year-old who is believed to have overdosed on drugs.
The emergency dispatcher refers to Gordon as 'Nick Bouler' as it is believed he had recently decided to change his name.

Gordon was partying in a hotel room at the Sheraton Orlando-North Hotel to celebrate the new year when he allegedly overdosed
'On January 1st, 2020, at 0515 hours, Maitland Officers were dispatched to 600 North Lake Destiny Road (The Sheraton Hotel) in reference to an unresponsive male,' police said in a statement.
'Entry was made into the room, where members of the Maitland Fire & Rescue Department began providing care to an unresponsive individual later identified as Nicholas Bouler.
'Nicholas Bouler was transported to Advent Health Altamonte Springs where he was pronounced deceased. This case is under active investigation by Detectives with the Maitland Police Department.'
A 911 call obtained by TMZ, reveals Gordon had 'black stuff' oozing from his mouth and he was not breathing.
His father Jack Walker Jr. told DailyMail.com he spoke with Gordon on New Year's Eve where 'he seemed happy, he seemed calm, everything was going good'
In the recording the 911 operator can be heard saying: 'Patient is 30-year-old male not conscious not breathing. Caller advised black stuff coming out of his mouth and he is not breathing.'
Gordon's grieving father says there was no hint of turmoil in the hours before his notorious son's alleged overdose death, telling DailyMail.com: 'Nick was a great person – everything was good.
Jack Walker Jr. said he spoke with Gordon on New Year's Eve, the day before the 30-year-old was taken to an emergency ward in Altamonte Springs, central Florida.
He denied any suggestion his son was depressed or spiraling out of control, insisting Gordon had landed a 'great job' and was optimistic about his prospects for 2020.
Officials have not commented on the cause of death but sources told DailyMail.com the habitual hard drinker and drug abuser was dropped off there by junkie pals who found him unconscious.
Walker Jr., 50, said: 'I spoke with Nick during the day. He seemed happy, he seemed calm, everything was going good.
'He was a free spirit, he was in a good state of mind. Everything that Nick was doing was great. He told me 2020 was going to be better than 2019. He had a great job.
'As for the police situation and everything it's too early to say. So no comment on the investigation or anything,' his father added.
Walker Jr said he and his other son Jack Walker III raced to ailing Gordon's hospital bedside and were present as he lost his fight for life.
Walker III wrote about the heartbreaking moment he said his goodbyes on Facebook, writing: 'I love you so much big brother.
'I hope you heard me talking to you at your bedside you are with me and I can feel it I love you I love you I love you watch over me and your nieces.'
Under a touching gallery of photos of the two boys growing up together, the sibling added: 'You will forever be my best friend nobody will ever take your place.'
Walker Jr told DailyMail.com: 'He [his brother] has taken it very hard. They were very close. We all were. This is a terrible thing. His mom will be making funeral arrangements for him.'
Gordon's heartbroken mom Michele, moved from Florida to Honolulu, Hawaii, several years ago, but is understood to be making her way to Florida. She is yet to comment on her loss.
Michele was a loyal presence at her wayward son's side throughout the fallout from the 2015 death of his former fiancée, Bobbi Kristina Brown, attending interviews for support and letting him live at her previous home in Sanford, Florida.
Bobbi Kristina, a 22 year aspiring singer and the daughter of Whitney Houston, spent six months in a coma after she was found unconscious in a bathtub with a slew of drugs in her system at the Georgia home she shared with Gordon.
He never faced criminal charges but was held legally responsible for her wrongful death in a civil case.
Gordon was arrested for domestic violence in March 2018 for 'repeatedly punching his new girlfriend Laura Leal'

Gordon's rap sheet also included arrests for kidnap and domestic violence against another girlfriend, Laura Leal, who said he punched her so hard she wondered if she was dead.
However Gordon's dad insisted his headline-grabbing son was misunderstood by the media and unfairly labelled a bully.
'I just want the world to know that despite everything that they heard negative Nick was a great person,' Walker Jr told DailyMail.com.
'He loved everyone. I don't want to see anything negative.'
Gordon's former lawyer Joe S. Habachy added in a statement to People: 'My heart is heavy today after learning that my long time client Nick Gordon died at the young age of thirty.'
'While I cannot speak to the specific circumstances of his death, I can say that it's been truly heartbreaking to have witnessed first hand the total devastation that drug addiction has wreaked upon a group of young friends, all of whom were loved and had immense potential.'
Gordon is thought to have been living with friends in Altamonte Springs, Florida after his mom moved to Hawaii.
He had recently split up with on-off girlfriend Leal, whom he was accused of attacking on several occasions leading to arrests for domestic abuse.
In an exclusive 2017 interview with DailyMail.com Leal described how Gordon held her captive in his mother's former before savagely beating her up after a night of drinking.
However she later dropped charges of domestic violence battery and false imprisonment insisting she was as much to blame for the dust-up as he was.
'Laura is absolutely devastated. They were seeing less of each other recently because they wanted some space,' a source said.
'But she cared deeply for him and was in a state of shock when she got the phone call.'
'God why did I have to lose my brother on New Year,' his brother Junior Walker wrote on Facebook. He added: 'All I can do is cry'

Bobbi Kristina spent six months in a coma and never recovered after she was found submerged in a bathtub with drugs in her system and bruises to her chest in July 2015.
Gordon protested his innocence and insists he did everything he could to resuscitate the 22-year-old budding singer after finding her unconscious at their Alpharetta home.
However he was held legally responsible for Bobbi Kristina's wrongful death by default and ordered to pay $36million in damages when he failed to fight a civil case brought by her family.
The sad episode echoed the death of her superstar star mom Whitney who also drowned in a bathtub in a Beverly Hills hotel, with cocaine abuse and heart disease contributing to her February 2012 demise.
Bobby Kristina's autopsy similarly listed drug intoxication and the immersion of her face in the water as factors.
Gordon, who was taken in by Houston at the age of 12, has never faced criminal charges and claims he tried his best to save the girl he considered his 'lil sis' before their relationship became romantic.
Brown's estate accused him, however, of causing her wrongful death by giving her a 'toxic mixture' and also stealing from her bank account while she was comatose.
When neither Gordon, nor his lawyer, showed up at hearings in 2016 a Fulton County Superior Court judge ruled against him by default.
